Tub to shower conversion
An unused guest bathtub replaced with a walk-in shower, reframed and re-plumbed rather than tiled over.
Every shower we build gets a secondary crack-isolation and waterproof membrane across the whole surface once the pan and wall board are in. It stops the substrate saturating over time and gives the tile something to move on if the house settles.
The tile is set by our own crews and grouted with a permanently sealed latex grout carrying a bio-block against mold and mildew. Custom glass is templated after the tile is finished and installed a few weeks later.
